Description of the work
Description of the work
Vittorio de Marchi was born in 1949 in a small town in the Marche region of Italy. In 1994, he founded "Arte in Movimento," the artistic movement that radically changed the concept of art in 2002-2003 (adnkronos). Using his oil paintings and working with master leatherworkers from the Marche region, he creates shoes, boots, bags, and various accessories for high fashion. Each product created by Vittorio de Marchi is a unique and inimitable work, an ideal combination of art and high fashion. He has become an artist-designer with worldwide recognition: in 2004, he was awarded the "ARTE VITALE" Prize, presented by Princess Rosemarie Aprile Von Hohenstaufen, President of the Cyberfuturism and Postmodern Art Foundation, on behalf of the European Council of Princes of Boston.
In the same year of 2004 he was awarded the “CHARTER ART AND FASHION” by SAIR Princess Maruska Macedonio of Byzantium, President of the Alexandros Foundation of Thessaloniki.
In 2005, by Princess Yasmin Federica III von Hohenstaufen, he was appointed HONORARY MEMBER of the “PRISMA” ART FOUNDATION, associated with the Department of Fine Arts of the GREEN PRINCESS TRUST of POWIS CASTLE, whose President is Prince Charles of England;
in 2006 in Rome, he received the “CAVALLINO d' ARGENTO” from RAI Radiotelevisione italiana, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of “Radio Corriere TV” and in the same year the Venice International Award – VENICE GOLDEN LION PLAQUE FOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT ; and again in 2007 in Senigallia at Finis Africae he received the highly coveted national award “ I MARCHIGIANI DELL'ANNO 2007 ” for entrepreneurship.
Again in 2007 he was invited and welcomed with great honour to Queens Park, the seat of the Government of Ontario in Canada.
From 2009 to 2011 he held the role of 1st Ambassador of the House of Hohenstaufen.
In the same year 2012, Prof. Karim Sahar, President of TCHSI, appointed him HONORARY MEMBER OF THE CANADIAN HEALTH SCIENCES INSTITUTE.
In January 2014 he was appointed AMBASSADOR by "International TCHSI Goodwill Ambassador for Mental Health, Human Rights and Peace - Canada for Italy.
These are the most noteworthy awards that add to the dozens of others collected over the years of his career.
His works are part of the private collections of Pamela Prati , who collaborates in designing part of the bag and shoe collections, Antonella Elia , Barbara Chiappini , Aida Yespica and many other personalities from fashion, TV, politics and entertainment.
The bags are unique masterpieces, crafted using the original canvases of Master Vittorio de Marchi's paintings, treated with hand-applied scratch-resistant processes, photographed, and certified as works of art with a certificate of originality and uniqueness.
One evening, invited to a fashion show, he is struck by the beauty of a model and that same night he paints a large canvas inspired by her. A few days later, he cuts the canvas and makes a dress with his own hands!
This is the first dress created by Vittorio de Marchi.
From that moment on, the artist officially entered high fashion and these years were studded with great successes, thousands of articles classifying him as the new Made in Italy and hundreds of television interviews.
In 2013, the Maestro's restless spirit led him to also approach cinematography, trying his hand as a screenwriter and director of the film "Doppio Dado".
Artist, stylist, designer, screenwriter, director, always attentive to the problems of the most needy, he has made such a contribution in all his manifestations that in 2007, the Ordre Millitum Templi, Grand Master Domenico Lancianese, awarded him the Bronze Seal with inscription in the Order's Roll of Honour for having distinguished himself in helping less fortunate people.
