How can I sell an artwork through your service?
To get started, simply register by filling out the dedicated form and attaching images of the works you'd like appraised or sold. Our experts will review the material and contact you to offer a personalized consultation.
What works do you accept for sale?
We accept various types of works: one-of-a-kind pieces, graphic art, sculptures, and fine publishing. Generally, the selection depends on market interest and the requests of enthusiasts, collectors, and dealers.
Is a certificate of authenticity required to sell a work?
Yes. Article 64 of the Cultural Heritage and Landscape Code (Legislative Decree 42/2004) requires certification of authenticity for the sale of works of art.
I don't have the certificate: what happens?
If you don't have the certificate, we'll take care of it by preparing the necessary documentation to make the sale compliant with the regulations.
How is the selling price defined?
Our experts analyze various parameters:
- provenance of the work,
- presence of certificates and documents,
- state of conservation,
- artist history in relation to: sales, auction appearances and current market trends.
How long does the sale take?
The timing varies depending on the type of work and market demand. It's clearly impossible to predict in advance how long it will take for a work of art to sell.
How does payment work once the work is sold?
Once the sale has been concluded and delivery has been confirmed to the buyer, who has the right to withdraw within 14 days as provided for by European Directive 2011/83 art. 9, we make the payment to the seller.
Who handles the shipping of the sold work?
We handle the shipping, working with specialized art couriers. We guarantee packaging, shipping, and insurance coverage.
Can I withdraw the work from the sales process whenever I want?
Yes, without any form of penalty.
Is there a cost for the service?
Our preliminary evaluation and consultation are completely free and without obligation. Subsequent services required for the sale are subject to a fee and are always agreed upon in advance with the client.
