Muggia sunset

The work entitled “Tramonto Muggiano” is based on a photograph I took in Muggia, on the Punta Sottile bend, near the entrance to the beach resort.
The composition is dominated by a bright and vibrant sunset, in which the sun, now low on the horizon, is reflected on the calm surface of the sea, creating a band of light that crosses the water.
The sky is traversed by dark, elongated clouds, with purple and bluish-gray hues, contrasting with the warm orange and yellow hues of dusk. The clouds in the background appear as soft, blurred silhouettes, almost suspended between sky and sea, creating a silent, contemplative atmosphere.
The delicate use of color and transparencies conveys the sensation of calm and depth typical of that time of day.

The work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions: National Group Exhibition ACF Stadion at the "Giuseppe Negrisin" Municipal Art Hall in 2008.
