Did you know that Superman has Jewish origins?

Yes, inspired by the Torah, the founders of this invincible superhero are Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

- the first Superman comic was published a few years before World War II broke out.

- the meaning of the Hebrew name of Superman (Kal El) is: Voice of God and the name of his father Jor El: God will be Exalted.

It is known that the Jews have always had in mind a Messiah different from Jesus (which is why they refused to recognize him as their King), unconsciously different even from the one mentioned in the Old Testament, in the Torah, imagined as one on a white horse, with a great sword, a shining crown, descending directly from heaven, therefore a superhuman person according to a cultural standard and a human, materialistic and very earthly concept.

Superman is the closest thing to a supposed Messiah: "a superman with laser eyes that burns everything, just with a glance, unstoppable, no weapon can kill or hurt him, he fights evil, has super strength, super speed, super hearing, super breath, he came from another world..."
Not accepting someone born in a manger, born poor, sitting on a donkey instead of a white horse, Superman was created without a sword or crown, the fruit of rejection. No wonder we read of Pilate saying, "What is truth?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and said to them, "I find no fault in him. But you have a custom that I release one to you at the Passover; do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?" Then they cried out again, "Not this man, Barabbas!" Now Barabbas was a robber."

And again, in the Old Testament we can read:
"Who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender plant, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no form or comeliness that we should look at him, nor any form that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we esteemed him as one from whom men hide their faces; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he bore our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him our iniquity." everyone."
