The work stems from a composition created by the artist, placing a chair with antique objects on top, and adding greenery from papyrus leaves and St. Joseph's jasmine. The whole thing was arranged inside his studio, facing the window. The painting was born from a study of perspective, distance, and light, and from the desire to convey on canvas the nostalgia for the past, represented by the presence of antique copper objects.
