For me, painting represents a journey that, through ups and downs, has accompanied me throughout my life. From the first harlequins and doves I drew as a child instead of playing with dolls, to today, with a more critical eye, I try to observe and understand the reason for this passion of mine. There's no single reason; perhaps the only reason is the feeling painting gives me of being able to reach a mysterious world. Through painting, my dreams come true, tensions are controlled through a line that releases them and then reabsorbs them, reality changes appearance and takes shape as I would like it. Although my painting is primarily based on color and its juxtapositions, I paint with little light, because what matters is not the color itself but the relationship between the various tones. There are no beautiful or ugly colors; the beauty of colors depends on how they are combined, and if harmony is achieved, even in black and white, the painting conveys the same emotions. I know that a characteristic of my paintings is the circle, and to those who ask me why, I reply that there isn't a single reason why it always appears in my work; there are infinite reasons why, without it, my paintings would remain unfinished.
