Degas's Dancers, Preparations for the Performance (copy of a mixture of three paintings by Degas).

The dancers have now left and forgotten the "dusty" salons of neoclassicism, an awareness of a new vitality awaits them, and they concentrate because they want to convey all the sensations that a new era is blowing upon them, to their audience.
Degas and his companions have filtered the light of the new events and they only have to give it to history (even if they will be hindered and humiliated in every way; let's think of Van Gogh who
cuts off an ear and then shoots himself...).
At a certain point in the process, I stopped looking at photos of Degas' paintings, and I accentuated the lights and colors as far as they took me.
