THE MAGIC MOUNTAIN

The painting represents nature as the only source of security and serenity; through it and within it, humans can find meaning and wholeness. In this wintry atmosphere, one can find oneself beneath a calm, starry sky. This natural place, like others I've painted, is conceived as detached from space and time: I call them non-places, characterized by magical atmospheres where nature is alive, as if it had its own personality, and above all, welcoming and loving.
