Description of the work
Description of the work
In the 1990s he began producing skyscrapers in New York. Grazioso has always felt the color
as an expressive form of man's feelings, in fact his "colored rectangles" want
represent the life, energy, and movement of people inside skyscrapers.
In this work the artist synthesizes the space of the city through geometric shapes in which the surface
of the sky merges with that of the water.
The red triangles and the white metal bridge structure that converges at the center of the canvas, generate
a sense of perspective, dynamism and tension in the composition.
The egg we see on the left symbolizes and recalls a popular anecdote that has as its
starring Christopher Columbus.
The roofs of the two lateral towers are arranged obliquely, giving a greater perspective effect.
through the simplicity of forms.
