Imelda Bassanello - Dream

Imelda Bassanello was born in Vicenza on May 17, 1950, where she completed her artistic training, graduating from the Barolomeo Montagna Institute. For six years, she attended Francesco Conz's workshop in Cittadella (Padua), where she learned and developed her knowledge of wood treatment, decoration, and ancient-style painting. She quickly mastered the technique, which she would gradually rework over time to her own creative ingenuity. In 1976, she moved to Savona, where she began her professional artistic career. Known to the general public for her unmistakable style, she demonstrates her versatility and completeness. Her works demonstrate a playful skill combined with sculptural agility. This demonstrates how the artist is able to continually reinvent herself while remaining faithful to that delicate outpouring of magical color that makes each of her creations an original fairytale.
