Biography
Eleonora Valeri is a multifaceted artist specialising in sculpture and digital art. She began her training at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara, where she studied Sculpture, before refining her skills at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, where she deepened her knowledge of multimedia arts. Natural elements form the core of her artistic research, rooted in a profound bond with nature that has characterised her life from the outset. Valeri explores a broad range of techniques, moving from sculpture to photography, and works with a variety of materials, with a particular predilection for the combination of glass and wood. This combination is heightened through the photographic image. Photography becomes the document capable of permanently capturing the relationship between materials and light. Through the photographic lens, the artist examines the relationship between nature and environment, with the aim of conveying a message about the essential importance of preserving nature and how technology can serve as an effective means of contributing to its safeguarding. The harmony between humankind, nature and innovation is revealed through the concept of "Fotodinamismo digitale", which also focuses on the elaboration of movement and time. The viewer is transported towards a new dimension, one whose origins lie in archaeology, evoking a dialogue between past and present. The idea of beauty and protection pervades the artist's works, in which experimentation and technique merge harmoniously. Her works are held in public collections at the MACRO, Rome, and the Corning Museum of Glass, as well as at the Fondazione Varini in Switzerland and in places open to the public.
Eleonora Valeri has also taken part in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
