Victoriana

In this work we look back to the past to discover the hair, clothes, style and decoration of an era in which the simple fact of sharing something with a friend could be laborious and complicated. The result was elegant and sophisticated until the point of taking a paint job. This work is an interpretation of a real 1900 photograph of Miss Carlyle and Miss Clark, two Gibson chicas.
