Vallon Street

"Via Vallon" is a path in my provincial town. A classic example of provincial life in Veneto, where nature is continually in contact with industry, the hand of man and his urban work. Whether it's the road in the distance, the abandoned chimney, or the electric pole in the middle of nowhere, this coexistence between industry and nature has always been a source of inspiration for my pictorial research. In this painting, the example lies against a backdrop of distant factories, the road, and the headlights of cars. The whole thing speaks of five o'clock in the afternoon in January, when the sun sets and the workers return home.
