Description of the work
Description of the work
The problem wasn't being a fish, but rather was consuming life in an aquarium. Her studies focus primarily on the subject-object duality within the context of the reality principle and the examination of production within the human space in the figurative sense. Each portrait in Maden's works is intended to express and reveal something. In this direction, the works are used in the form of symbolic content associated with portraits and/or the power of expressive color. Valeri takes as her starting point the concepts to which humans are attached, such as gender, religion, politics, ideology, and all stereotypical thoughts. She also forces the audience to see her wounds, making the primary theme of her work the discrimination she is exposed to and the discourses encountered in oppressive societies.
