Umberto Torricelli, born in Milan in 1966, is a painter and illustrator. He is a passionate comic book fan, especially Andrea Pazienza, Stefano Tamburini, and Tonino Liberatore, as well as Hugo Pratt. His paintings favor hard-boiled and noir atmospheres.
