Description of the work
Description of the work
Oil on prepared canvas and oil on plexiglass.
Tommaso Arscone is an artist born in Genoa in 1980. His pictorial work is the result of an intense study of techniques and the reproduction of reality. Through an experimental approach that leads him to use acrylic, oil, airbrush, ink, pastels, and charcoal on a variety of materials, even unusual ones like plexiglass or aluminum, the artist achieves a highly detailed natural truth. Tommaso Arscone's work is a consummate hyperrealism that, with powerful illusionism, manages to photographically reproduce any subject on any medium. In his portraits, Arscone pursues anatomical and physiognomic perfection, while in his depictions of metallic objects he excels in the reproduction of reflective surfaces and light effects.
