Tiberiano Marilli - Children

Tiberiano Marilli was born in Massafra (TA) in 1947 and currently lives in Minoprio (CO) after extensive travels in various cities in Europe and America. "His work maintains a high level of compositional conception, where the human figure is always the protagonist of a world of pain and drama; his high sense of plasticity is an effective means of expressing a deeply felt, unspoken content; the tonal relationship to essentiality, almost an effort of matter to become light, make Tiberiano a true master." (Franco Sapi)

A student of Renato Guttuso, he worked in Venice in 1964 alongside contemporary and classical masters. He has exhibited his works in Pavia, Milan, Rome, Venice, Barcelona, Madrid, Zurich, Paris, and many other cultural centers. Notable frescoes are found in Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, and Italy. His works are present in many public and private collections.
