In this 50×50 mixed-media work, Michele Praticò constructs a scene suspended between memory and symbol. At the center, a red horse, intense and vital, becomes the narrative fulcrum and driving force of the piece, standing in contrast to the whites and grays of the background, which are quieter and more introspective.

The lower band, dominated by yellow and green, introduces an earthy and sensory dimension: fields, traces, minimal objects that suggest a path, a crossing. The overall composition appears as a symbolic journey between past and present, instinct and construction, where the painterly gesture remains deliberately visible, direct, almost necessary.
