Rudy Mascheretti - Metamorphosis

Rudy Mascheretti “paints music and plays painting”.

Born in Bergamo, he lives and works in Alassio.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara with 110 cum laude with a thesis in Design.

 

He has exhibited in Italy and abroad, receiving prizes and awards.

Inspired by Caravaggio's light, he painted large canvases of nudes and lifelike figures, commissioned portraits such as "Totò," officially presented to Antonio De Curtis's daughter by the municipality of Alassio; the singer Ronnie Jones; famous chefs such as Carlo Cracco; and the Prince of Abu Dhabi, a work donated to the Emir by the Region of Sardinia and exhibited in the private collection of Sheikh Nahayan bin Mabarak al Nahayan, alongside masterpieces by Picasso, Kandinsky, and Warhol.

 

Rudy founded the Artistic Association “L'Impronta” organizing artistic events in Liguria, exhibiting in national and permanent exhibitions at the “Blaue Galerie” of Artothek Dogan in Germany.

Drawing expert, he holds teaching courses in some private and state schools.

Eclectic Artist, Designer and Painter, but also a DJ with 30 years of consolidated profession in the best Italian and foreign consoles collaborating with international singers and musicians.

Rudy Mas, combining his passions, blends Art and Music in an innovative performance calling it “The Beat Art Concept”, becoming the first DJ and Artist in the world capable of painting a giant canvas while mixing music at the console.

His expressive style has the magic and lightness of free inspiration that is the essence of his poetics. He's accompanied by talented musicians like saxophonist Gabriele Zeppegno, violinist Simona Mana, jazz groups, and sometimes his talented daughter, the singer Greta, all blending together in an ever-increasing and compelling rhythm to create a canvas.
