Portraits – Watercolor – Anonymous

Pair of miniature portraits identified as anonymous works, executed in watercolor and gouache on thin support.

The record includes a portrait of a young man or adolescent measuring 7 cm in diameter and a portrait of a mustachioed gentleman measuring 4.5 cm in diameter, datable to between the late 18th and 19th centuries. Their small format and period frames make them a refined set for collectors of miniatures, historical portraits, and cabinet art.
