FOR LOVE

This painting was born from a simple but painful question I asked myself while the canvas was still blank.

I asked myself: "How much love does the world need?"

“Pour l’amour” represents a journey of the soul where love is not idealized, but experienced in its deepest truth. That truth that illuminates and wounds, that leaves scars, that makes one cry but at the same time saves.

I depicted an undefined face because the soul has no face, no visible body, changeable, vulnerable, and universal.

While the eyes, which are my stylistic signature, watch and are watched, the heart beats.

The words I included cross the surface like thoughts etched in memory. The words “love” in different languages tell of a feeling that knows no borders. While the addition of symbols, such as the eye, the stars, the butterfly, speaks of awareness, freedom, and transformation.

I did not want a single focal point, because in love nothing is secondary, every feeling, every emotion has the same importance, so that also

every element present in the painting has the same emotional weight, as happens in life: everything coexists, everything remains.

This work of mine is an invitation to feel emotions,

not to be afraid of tears and suffering,

Because "love is not love without tears".
