Preparation time 5 days work done on multiple layers. Every day I added a color. Pencil drawing then first base in blue and light blue color overlay adding gray and black once the base was dry then black, red, yellow and orange to bring out the explosive effect of the eruption. Adding red white orange and yellow reflections on the sea like a mirror effect. I added the ship, the trees and the lava splinters that end up in the sea. As a final touch I used a fixative to block the color. A tip: Do not store near heat sources and do not leave under direct light.
