Description of the work
Description of the work
Built in the second half of the 14th century by Cangrande II della Scala, the Scaligero Bridge is a magnificent example of 14th-century military engineering. With its elegant lines, it boldly spans the Adige River from the Mastio Tower, located at the center of the medieval Castelvecchio fortress.
Work made with approximately 90,000 glass beads sewn one by one onto canvas.
