Philippe Artias - Venice the Colleone

Trained in Saint-Étienne, he developed an abstract and geometric style, later moving to a more figurative style of painting. In 1950, he met Picasso in Vallauris, embarking on a career in ceramics. From the 1960s, his dual career as a ceramist and painter led him to exhibit in numerous solo shows both in France and in the Marche region, where he moved in 1976 and collaborated with the Rossicone and Testa kilns.
