Paolo Rosati - Explosion

I was born in the province of Viterbo in the mid-1970s, and it is where I still live, between Civita Castellana and Fabrica di Roma.

Since I was a child and then a teenager, I have shown a certain degree of curiosity and creativity, which later blossomed into a true passion for art, a genuine thirst for knowledge and a creative hunger, which I still carry with me, and which is an integral part of my existence, despite the problems and adversities that life sometimes throws our way. And which I have developed over the years, studying, deepening my wealth of experience, and collaborating with local artists.

Art, as far as I'm concerned, is my "refuge", my "happy island", where I can freely express everything I feel and experience.

And in fact, mine is an art inspired by an abstract expressionism of Pollockian memory, but updated to the contemporary context, with references to modern street-art, and with a sometimes informal use of artistic materials (e.g. acrylic colors, oil colors, pigments, spray cans, gold leaf, auxiliaries and various mediums) and materials (plaster, kaolin, silicone and everyday objects such as simple nails) and chosen supports (canvases and frames specifically created by me), with an excursus also in the figurative field, through the technique of realistic portraiture (with the aid of dry pastels) *, through the creation of visions dictated by the subconscious and the soul, through a real imprinting on the canvas, with a material use of colors and with a vibrant and emotional style in the brush strokes (use of the dripping technique), I try to express my sensations and moods, in order to arouse different and continuous reactions in the observer, from amazement and surprise, through reflection and reasoning, even to the point of real anxiety and anguish.

The transaction takes place with maximum security for both the seller and the buyer. We take care of the conformity (provenance, authenticity, state of conservation) of the work and handle the shipping.
