Description of the work
Description of the work
The painting depicts an evocative, almost fairytale-like scene. At the center is a luminous circle, which may resemble a body of water or an opening into another world. Around it, the vegetation unfolds harmoniously, with colorful flowers and soft shapes. On the right side, a human figure can be seen observing the scene, creating an atmosphere of anticipation, mystery, or contemplation.
The painting is created using a soft, fluid technique. The colors blend in gradual transitions, creating an effect of depth and light that evokes an almost dreamlike dimension. The predominant tones are green, light blue, and blue, with touches of brighter color in the flowers. The composition has a visual balance that guides the eye toward the center, as if everything converges at that point.
Orazio Giuliani was born in Vico del Gargano in 1950, a small town that marked his early artistic experiences in local artisan workshops, where he learned manual precision and the importance of gesture. This background gives him a unique sensitivity in approaching materials and the artistic process. Later, he moved to Milan, where contact with European contemporary art opened new horizons in his work. His international experience then took him to Paris and Switzerland, where he developed a more open and cosmopolitan vision of his art, enriched by a continuous dialogue between different cultural traditions. His works have been exhibited in numerous Italian and European cities, receiving widespread acclaim for their ability to evoke a profound reflection on spirituality, the search for the meaning of life, and the mystery of existence.
