Nicola Capasso was born in Naples on January 20, 1962. A writer of short stories, poems, and aphorisms, he extends his expressive power from politics to painting. Experimenting with various techniques, he creates oils and acrylics on canvas, wood, murals, and recently on cold-enameled majolica. Some of his paintings, such as SACRIFICE TO MOLOCH, CAPITAL, are exhibited in the Aula Magna of the Bagnoli Nautical Institute. Nicola's artistic cry is that of a newborn, self-taught artist who proclaims his pictorial truth beyond academic schematism.
