The research of Monia Bindi, an artist originally from Pienza, where she lives and works, takes the form of a pictorial gesture charged with symbolic meaning and personality. Her intervention on the canvas, often white, bare, and decontextualized, can be considered minimal, yet at the same time dense, both conceptually and formally. Indeed, her flowers seek three-dimensionality in a material pictorialism that transcends the space of the canvas and is recontextualized through a gesture vibrant with emotional meaning.
