Worlds…and then?

In "Mondi ... and then?", form becomes a tactile and geographical body on a dense black background. A perfect circle, resembling a moon or a primordial cell, rests on two overlapping flaps that, like wings or rivers, stretch upwards. The surfaces are textured, incised with a dense pattern reminiscent of fossil textures or geological imprints. On the golden and ochre skin appear dry plant fragments, patches of red and pale green, resembling a relic from the past or signs of life. It is a work that asks questions, that breaks free from boundaries, played out between the perfection of the circle and the irregularity of the fragment, where every mark seeks to stop the time of a transformation. In this assemblage, matter ceases to be inert and becomes the account of a life that struggles.
