Landscape has always been a central theme in artistic research, both as a setting, as a backdrop, and as a subject itself. The naturalistic depiction of landscape has been an artist's aspiration throughout the centuries. Each historical period has offered its own interpretation of landscape, contributing to the evolution of its depiction: first with an exploration of space, through Brunelleschi's perspective in the early Renaissance, then with atmospheric rendering in the sixteenth century, up until the depiction of every single vibration of light on objects in Impressionism.

The composition is set with a highly dramatic angle, with this diagonal shot and the small path that cuts across the entire scene. Regarding form, the artist relies primarily on color to bring the subject to life. The application is achieved with broad splashes of color that build the grassy slope and the clear outline of the farmhouse. For the trees, the painter uses a more cursive touch. The light spreads along the left side of the path, leaving the right side in shadow.

Mischi is a painter with an excellent technique who creates lyrical countryside landscapes. His pictorial language relies primarily on the tonal values ​​of color, from which he finds his own personal and distinctive stylistic signature.
