Description of the work
Description of the work
Mirko Pagliacci was born in 1959 in Lausanne, Switzerland. He graduated from the Primo Liceo Artistico on Via Ripetta in Rome, under the guidance of Nicola Carrino (of Forma1) and Amelio Roccamonte (Spatialism). He later studied at the School of Nude at the Academy of Fine Arts (teachers Antonio Avenessian and Giulio Turcato). In 1997, he signed a ten-year contract with the Telemarket and Monte Titano Arte companies. In 2000, he was part of the "Metropolismo" artistic movement theorized by Achille Bonito Oliva. In 2013, the teacher and art historian Lidia Reghini Di Pontremoli dedicated a chapter to him in the university text "Derive e Conflitti" for the cultural anthropology course at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2015, the journalist Stefano Sassi dedicated a television report to him for RAI-TG2 - "INSIEME". He recently created an installation for the Maam museum directed by Giorgio De Finis and a work for the "insieme" project exhibited at the Michelangelo Pistoletto Foundation. Currently, some of his works decorate the Rai1 fiction - "provaci ancora prof" (series 7).
