Mattia Di Rosa was born in Carrara on June 29, 1969. He graduated from the Carrara Art School and studied Architecture at the University of Florence until 1991. After designing several objects for the Alessi company, he decided to dedicate himself exclusively to artistic research, free from mass production. He considers himself an experimenter and researcher whose primary tool is drawing, believing that everything can be drawn, even if everything is invisible or absurd. He lives in Massa Carrara.

"Today, I'm happy to place my idea of ​​'drawing' within that artistic practice that refers to the archaic meaning of vocation. In our time, this is almost a hermetic swear word... it seems to me the only useful way to avoid falling into descriptive schemes that can also be restrictive and misleading."
