Massimo Podestà - Homage to Archipenko

The artistic production of Massimo Podestà, a painter originally from Sarzana, born in 1949, is a kind of color-based Surrealism. His works completely subvert every dimension of space and time in pursuit of cosmic harmony. Transcending reality formally involves the construction of extremely complex compositions in which chromatic exuberance combines with the assembly of materials such as glass and mirrors, which only heighten the sense of vertigo and swirling space that defines this artist's work.
