Araxis - Mario Vespasiani

Araxis is a mixed-media work from 2023 in which Mario Vespasiani — a Marchigian artist born in 1978, with over 30 solo exhibitions to his credit — takes his painterly research into an alchemical and contemplative realm. The square format — 100 × 100 cm — is no coincidence: the symmetry of the square reflects the inner balance that Vespasiani seeks through color and light, exploring the mystery of creation and the movements of the soul. A work that is not merely looked at, but listened to.

Vespasiani painted the Palio dell’Assunta for the city of Fermo (2015), has exhibited in institutional venues, and has explored photography with Ferdinando Scianna and cinema with Lech Majewski. His path is that of an artist who does not follow trends, but builds his own language.
