Technical research conducted with scientific rigor led him to employ highly personal methods in his work, such as his varnished and glazed egg tempera, his "encaustic," and his encausticized pastel. Founder, in 1977, of the "Centro di Ricerche Tecniche dell'Arte" and, in 2003, of the "Donizetti Museo Scuola," Donizetti disseminates his techniques online (donizetti-museoscuola.it) with texts in various languages ​​(English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese) as well as filmed lessons dubbed in English.
