Madonna of Christianity

The canvas is called “Madonna del Cristianesmo” and not Christianity since in those years this term was also widespread in literary form and since it is a bygone theme I prefer to use similar terms from those eras.

The theme of the canvas is the power of the Christian troops against the Muslim invasion.

The Madonna looks towards us, symbolizing that, in every moment of difficulty, we ourselves fight to get out. The Father looks at the inscription on the stone, almost moved by its grandeur.
the very strong red color is due to his emotion.

The child at the bottom indicates to the spectators before him the secret of every victory, that is, unity and faith.
