THE ORIGIN OF LIGHT

At first glance, it might look like a chaotic jumble of figures, the harshest critic might say, but I would reply that it is not a jumble because every structure, every line, every symbol represents something... it represents a mental structure, a mental architecture that is complex yet simple at the same time.

Our brain is a complex organ composed of approximately 86-100 billion neurons (nerve cells) that communicate through electrochemical signals. These cells form a network with over 150 trillion synapses, processing information, managing cognitive functions, emotions, and movements through brain plasticity.

So, what my painting represents is exactly what a complex, energetic mental structure is, full of emotions represented by color, and what is the emotion that makes our heart beat and keeps our brain calm if not love? Here are the A's (a symbol in the key that conveys the message that we need love) and the triangles, symbols representing the enlightenment and awareness achieved by the brain.

The black lines are the paths that every neuron travels in this complex structure to ensure that everything functions properly. Without neurons, we would not be able to move or live, just like the mental architecture I have represented. The eyes serve as a bridge between the inner structure and the outside world, the eyes project images to the brain while for me the opposite happens: it is my brain that, through my eyes, sends me images made of shapes, colors, figures, symbols, and lines that trace a path where everything floats in space.

How does this happen to me? It is very simple: whether it is day or night, all I have to do is close my eyes to see what my brain communicates to me. And what if I am asleep? It is simple: my brain wakes me up, forcing me to open and close my eyes at the same time so that I can see even in the dead of night. And yes, sometimes it can be a problem because once I am awake with the explosion of color that has occurred within me, falling back asleep becomes a bit complicated, but creativity does not come on command.
