THE INVISIBLE

SELECTION WINNER FOR EXHIBITION AT THE 2026 MILANO BIENNALE.

This painting was born as a reflection on inner identity and the continuous dialogue between emotion and structure. The female figure does not represent a specific person, but the soul: a presence that inhabits a mental and emotional space in constant transformation. The face is barely suggested, almost suspended, to suggest that identity is never defined once and for all, but changes over time through experiences, memories, and awareness. The geometric lines and curves that cross the composition represent inner boundaries, mental constructions, and the invisible paths that each of us traverses.

Color plays a very important role: yellow recalls inner light and vital energy, green growth and renewal, while red brings us back to the physical and emotional dimension. The work wants to invite the viewer to stop, to enter this suspended space and to recognize something of themselves, without the need for definitive explanations.

The whole is not chaotic: it is complex but harmonious, as a human being is when they accept all their parts.
