THE FEAR OF LOVE

"The Fear of Love" is a visual and psychological exploration of the soul that fears love. The central woman represents the soul itself: fragile, protected, suspended between vulnerability and desire. The curved lines surrounding her create a capsule of safety, symbolizing her inner defense.

The rose, placed beside her, is the desired but feared love: beautiful, necessary, capable of hurting without destroying. At the bottom right, the heart pierced by the cross symbolizes the emotional scars that life entrusts to love, but the visible heartbeat indicates that vitality and the capacity to love persist.

At the top, the inscription “Can love kill? Then end us, but do it with love!” poses the existential question, while at the bottom the answer “No, love does not kill” confirms the soul’s awareness and resilience.

The tunnel of light and the white lines represent the heartbeat and the possibility of moving through fear, transforming it into growth and awareness.
