Innerworld Bones 1

A series that represents non-existent forms born from my floating world of confinement, then bringing them to a more realistic level through the study of light and shadow, paying attention to proportions, perspective and shapes.

They are the bones of my inner world, the deepest and most internal part that gives it its structure. Abstract and fluid bones, perhaps made of stone or actual bone. Not completely in focus, because my inner world isn't completely clear even to myself; it changes and will change.

This is what I see, shapes with unclear boundaries or maybe yes, of a world that really exists and that has never existed

These works are the result of a period of seclusion in my life, studying the world from myself towards others.

Having moved back to Padua, overwhelmed by everything around me, I felt less and less inclined to expose myself to society and form new relationships. The few times I tried, I was mirrored by my own social status; I often discussed this with my roommate, a sort of rejection of the sociality of a world that isolates itself, the child and victim of recent and unfolding events.

So I rediscovered myself and day by day I produced and studied myself, finding the bones of my inner world, which have no defined forms or spatiality*.

Imprisoned in cages of my own creation, just as I do in my works, I first find my essence, my structure, and then I cage it, intent on self-sabotage.
