IMPERIAL MICHELE - Tree

An art and technology teacher, he dedicates himself to painting and sculpture, living and working in Turin.

He creates Silent Book sculptures, wordless books based exclusively on sculpted images. Each book is dedicated to an important figure in our history, or to a current affairs topic.

The Artist states that “...communicating with images promotes encounters and exchanges between different cultures and helps understanding... I use the form of the book because the book has always been chosen to describe important and historical events... My works are also a denunciation of the frivolity with which today's culture is built and defined, where the digital has supplanted paper and other material objects...”.

Michele Imperiale has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. His most recent exhibitions were Paratissima 2024 in Turin and a solo exhibition in Venaria Reale.

He has won various awards and his Works have been published in magazines and newspapers.
