My name is ILIE MIHALI , I was born in Romania in a small mountain town in the north of the country. I immigrated to Italy in 2002 shortly after finishing vocational school.

I have a diploma in mechanical engineering, but I have never practiced my profession, doing something else.

I changed a lot of jobs, bricklayer, painter, gardener, salesman and finally plumber, which is what I still do today.

How did my passion for painting begin? Simply from the desire to do what you love most, to express yourself in a different way, and in this case, painting; although my art is very simple because I'm a simple person too. The desire to be a little different from others, to escape this reality, to forget and let go within the painting being created, is why I chose to follow my instincts, in this case, modern art; and I dream of that day, when I'll live only by making art.

And the best part is that you will leave something behind that will last a long time when you are gone.
