THE TRIANGLE

At the center of this work is a sensual and provocative woman, shrouded in a surreal, mysterious atmosphere, splashes of liquid color to release energy onto the canvas. A mask to distance oneself from the real world, to hide and reveal oneself as in a magical ritual. The unknown, the mystery, the unconscious, in a woman's face looking from the outside at her other side. This work is part of the series "THE MIRROR AND THE MASK." The main inspiration for this piece is the captivating portrait, paired with a dark mask, the mask as an instrument of deception, but also as a tool for deepening self-knowledge. From the dark black, an eye appears, looking at us while holding a mask used to hide. Mixed media in a constant search for new balances by Ezio Ranaldi.
