The Sound of Silence

There is an exact moment when emotion ceases to be a thought and becomes a color. In this work, that moment explodes with an elegant and magnetic intensity.

the deep black of a silhouette that seems to be gasping for air, turned upward in a gesture of surrender or silent prayer. The lips, a vivid and carnal red, evoke passion, desire, but also the stifled cry of someone who has too much to say and cannot find the words.

The hand brushing the face is not an attempt to hold back a soul that is about to slip away! The lacquered nails are gentle talons that mark the boundary between pain and beauty.

That green tangle at the bottom left breaks every pattern. It represents that lump in our throats that we cannot loosen, that chaos of intricate thoughts we carry inside, even when we present a proud and defined profile to the world. While the red background pulses like blood or fire, that green reminds us of our psychological complexity: we are made of instinct, but also of unresolved knots.

What are we looking for when we lift our gaze toward the darkness? An answer, or simply a moment’s respite from our own inner noise?
