Description of the work
Description of the work
All of Giuseppina Freni's art is aimed at constructing a world filled with fantasy and creativity. Formally, this intent is expressed through a refined, elemental objectivism, which constructs the subject and space as if they were composed of modules. The characters move depersonalized, often without facial features, in a dimension verging on the metaphysical, yet without the rationality and coldness typical of that artistic school. Indeed, the prevailing character is one of joyful inspiration, recognized in the variety and brilliance of the colors.
