Description of the work
Description of the work
Giovanni Santarelli is a painter from Terni with a career spanning nearly thirty years. In his paintings, he has developed an original language inspired by Abstract Expressionism, based on a complex use of color. In Giovanni Santarelli's canvases, the paint is distributed in magmatic layers that give the work a particularly dynamic and vital appearance. The pictorial film appears to be constantly evolving, forming layers and surfaces. This continuous flow also derives its energy from a skillful distribution of colors, based on carefully calibrated harmonious balances.
