Description of the work
Description of the work
A fractal is a geometric form characterized by its infinite repetition, always with the same shape but smaller in size! In nature, this characteristic can be recognized in the leaves of ferns, the Roman cauliflower, but also in the branches of trees, the bronchi of the lungs, the branches of rivers, the spirals in shells, galaxies, and so on; these are examples of self-similarity! Essentially, a fractal can be defined as anything whose geometric structure repeats itself on different scales without changing its appearance (self-similarity).
This implies the possibility that the universe is structured according to the so-called "cosmological principle" that describes itself in both the macrocosm and the microcosm!
What makes fractals so interesting? Fractal geometry makes us understand that if humans, cells, the universe, and every other existing structure share the same matrix, we don't have to look far to understand how the cosmos or anything else works. Simply knowing ourselves is enough to understand the entire manifest world, exactly as ancient philosophies have always taught us!
