FRAGMENT XVIII

Fragment XVIII is inspired by a fragment of 18th-century lace belonging to the Palazzo Madama Collection in Turin.
Fragment is a sinuous, time-warped weave, upon which a luminous curl stands out, taking shape in its three-dimensional form. Browsing through antique lace, recovering and reinterpreting traditional repertoires, an unexpected and fascinating adventure in the world of yarns is born. Signs that revisit familiar gestures, extras in a story centered on an ancient and evolving art, the transition from a cultural asset to a contemporary creative expression.
