Fiamma 12/90 – Engraving – Davide Benati

Specimen 12/90 In the work "Fiamma", Davide Benati fully expresses his graphic and engraving mastery. The work is structured on a dense and deep chromatically saturated base in the tones of burgundy/Sienna earth, on which emerges a sudden and impalpable organic explosion shaded in the warm tones of yellow, orange and red. The skillful use of aquatint gives the surface a soft and pictorial grain, creating delicate tonal gradations and evocative transparencies. The print was made at the renowned Stamperia Santa Chiara in Urbino by the printer Marcello, guaranteeing the absolute technical value of the art sheet.
