ELEGANCE

A brief explanation of why I didn't start with a simple, blank canvas—to my mind, completely anonymous—but rather the idea of superimposing a stylized painting onto paper from times gone by, with the intent of expressing sweetness, enchantment, and love in the face of the modern world, simplifying the confusion and lack of cognitive ability resulting from an extremely hectic life. The presence of clear black lines demarcating the figure represents a boundary between the inner past and the future, the beauty of a simplicity rooted in the past, where the type of support is often consistent with the figure being depicted, giving the work itself a soul. This painting/poem reveals a perfect spiritual communion between the artist, through a skillful graphic balance and an exquisitely structured, almost monochromatic richness, achieving a very sweet feminine personality, capturing a hint of sadness in her gaze, a firmness of character, and an intellectual vivacity. The instinctive art of this painter preserves, in its unexpected solutions, exceptional qualities of original freshness, of a spontaneous and disinterested vocation that commands the public's attention.
